Summary:AustLit: Australian Literature Gateway is a resource discovery service created to support and enhance research and learning in Australian literature. AustLit is a non-profit collaboration between eleven Australian Universities and provides authoritative information on hundreds of thousands of creative and critical Australian literature works relating to more than 94,000 Australian authors and literary organisations. Its coverage spans 1780 to the present day. Source material includes printed monographs, printed journals and newspapers, electronic sites, journals and texts, video/film/stage adaptations of Australian literary works, sound recordings, and manuscript collections. The database provides bibliographic and organisational records and access to Internet based resources.
